FAMILY PHYSICIANS/GENERAL PRACTITIONERS FROM MALAYSIA
Family Physicians in Malaysia who have passed the conjoint RACGP-Malaysian Fellowship exam can work in Australia unsupervised. Upon successful completion of the Fellowship examination and fulfillment of other eligibility criteria the FRACGP is conferred upon these doctors. Medical Registration will be via the Specialist Pathway Program.
General Practitioners who do not hold this qualification but who have been practicing as a Family Physician in Malaysia for more than 3 years will need to apply for Limited Registration – Area of Need.
It will be necessary to sit the Australian Medical Council Multiple Choice Questionnaire AMC MCQ.

Evidence of successful pass in English Language Proficiency, either IELTS or OET is a standard requirement.
