It is not a requirement for GPs from Singapore with the following qualification to sit Australian Medical Council Multiple Choice Questionnaire (AMC MCQ).
The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) has 2 Categories for GPs from Singapore.
SPECIALIST PATHWAY (SPP)
CATEGORY 1
The Specialist Assessment Pathway (Fully Comparable / Area of Need) is for IMGs with
following qualifications from Singapore. This qualification provides a pathway to Fellowship
ad eundum gradum (Faeg) of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).
Fellowship of College of Family Physicians FCFP (S)
Deemed 'fully comparable' GPs from Singapore with above qualifications are able
to apply for Fellowship and practice in Australia unsupervised.
CATEGORY 2
The Specialist Assessment Pathway (Partially Comparable / Area of Need) is for IMGs
with following qualification from Singapore.
Master of Medicine in Family Medicine
It remains a requirement to work in a 'District of Workforce Shortage' (DWS).
